Treatment Rooms Duncan Hooson

Ceramic artist Duncan Hooson was commissioned to create artworks for the two inpatient treatment rooms in the Children’s Centre.

The ceramic panels lend the rooms a child friendly appearance and make them less intimidating and more welcoming for children. The two panels, one for each treatment room, are titled Captain Bling and Parrot Bling and linking with the aquatic floor designs for the Starfish Magnification Children’s Centre.

They will also contain enough interest and detail so that they can be used to actively distract children undergoing treatment.
