Jamie Gutch

For the past five years, I have specialized in the design and installation of mobiles. I have recently completed two mobiles for the Multi-faith Centre at West Middlesex Hospital. I am interested in how the balance and harmony integral to mobile sculpture can be used in a variety of therapeutic and educational contexts. Also, along with my partner Juliet Henderson, we are keen to explore the themes of imbalance and disharmony through a variation on traditional mobile-making methods, which we call “immobiles”.

I will be working with Milestone School and the Ophthalmology Department.
