By working with a cross-section of materials, from ceramic and glass to painting and lightboxes, I aim to produce informative as well as uplifting works, which can be understood and appreciated by all ages. For this residency, I am looking forward to working with two local primary schools, and the use of hospital materials, such as plaster of paris, will produce a fun and interesting method of educating children about the experiences of patients and medical staff alike.
I will be working with Holy Trinity Primary School and Cheltenham and Tewskesbury C-of-E Primary School and two hospital departments: Trauma & Orthopaedic and Accident & Emergency.
