Gloucester Healthcare Partnership
GHP is the private consortium selected to deliver the new hospital development. It is responsible for raising the capital for this development and its future maintenance. GHP will own the building and its fixed assets for 30 years, after which it will revert to the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. During this 30-year period the Trust will lease the building from GHP, and pay it an agreed fee for facilities management.
GHP is jointly owned by two of Germany's leading multi-service providers, Bilfinger + Berger and M + W Zander.
Bilfinger + Berger (BBUK) is the company contracted by GHP to build the hospital. It delivers the design and build of the hospital and manages the design team and all contractors. It employs Avanti Architects to provide the architectual and interior design.
M + W Zander is the company contracted by GHP to maintain the hospital once it is complete. It will deliver building maintenance and estate management.
The Trust will deliver catering, portering and laundry services across the new development as well as in the existing hospital.
