GRASP waiting memories

Have you got memories of a waiting room and the things that were put there to distract or entertain you? Did they work? Let us know here and help contribute to the creation of artworks for the family waiting areas in the new hospital. Below are a few examples already collected:

"When I was 13 I had endless visits to the Orthodontic department getting my goofy teeth pulled back into line. I used to sit in the waiting room every few months looking at one of those Escher prints where people go up and down stairs and never get anywhere. It used to keep me occupied, but never cheered me up much." Jo Plimmer, Arts Coordinator

"I have memories of staring at a painting of a wintery Impressionist river - a Monet print perhaps. Enough to put you off for life!" Judith Muir, Senior Nurse ENT
