Treatment Rooms Duncan Hooson
Ceramic artist Duncan Hooson has been commissioned to create artworks for the two inpatient treatment rooms in the Children’s Centre.
The ceramic panels will lend the rooms a child friendly appearance and make them less intimidating and more welcoming for children. The two panels, one for each treatment room, are titled Captain Bling and Parrot Bling locate their holiday and Rock pool, linking with the aquatic floor designs for the Children’s Centre.
They will also contain enough interest and detail so that they can be used to actively distract children undergoing treatment.
